Best hand cream for sore, chapped hands?

What hand creams can you recommend for dry, sore, chapped hands? I actually have red and broken skin in a couple of places Hmm mainly from washing up several times a day!

I do apply hand cream regularly throughout the day but just cheap ish Vaseline or Nivea ones that I grab while doing the tesco shop. Looking to invest in something a bit more heavy duty and luxury if it will do a better job of moisturising and preventing the chapped look.....

when it's really bad I use aveeno (the oats one), let it sink in and then weleda skin food on top. mornings and evenings, and then just aveeno during the day, after handwashing ec.

Thanks for all the replies!! Smile
Those who say rubber gloves to wash up are spot on. I know I should, I am just always rushing around and ridiculous as it sounds it just feels like I don't have time (3 DC aged 5 and under!) but I should make it part of my routine.

Light bulb moment as DS2 has diprobase on prescription for eczema so I always have it in the house!! So will start using that myself Smile Will also look into body shop hemp and vit E as they sound popular, and should get some cotton gloves for overnight. Does it feel weird wearing gloves to bed?! I imagine so!

Thanks again, much appreciated.

I found soap and glory endless glove fantastic! I've used it both with and without the gloves and found it very effective used both ways.
