Navy dress and what?

I've bought this dress for my leaving night tomorrow but I'm at the point of returning it as I can decide what to wear on bottom half. I have a nice pair of black shoe boots but will black tights look ok? I really want to wear some kind of tights as legs not my best feature. Also in Scotland and too blooming cold for bare legs!

Pretty dress :-) I think you could wear tights with this. Personally I'd probably go with nude, as think black might look a tad heavy. If your shoe boots look good though, you could just try it with some really low denier black tights - the thinner the better (and if you're anything like me, take a spare pair with you for the inevitable getting-out-of-the-car tear!).

I'd go with nude too as black and navy can look wintery. Kate Middleton always wears navy with skin coloured tights and black courts or else nude and both look good. Not sure if that helps.
