Best make-up for allergy prone skin?

Disaster has struck - I seem to have become allergic to my foundation! It's making my eyes all puffy and red, and my face feels itchy and a little bit stingy.

I am so vain that I continue to wear it. What should I swap to?

Clinique. And at least any without added perfume.

I opened the thread because I have a similar problem. I am having a reaction to my new Clinique foundation Sad

Oh dear!
I would second pinkfrocks choice of Clinique as they have a few different ones tailored for your type of skin.

Other than that there is Bare Minerals which people keep telling me I ought to try as I have sensitive skin.

My skin broke out after wearing a Bobbi Brown foundation once. It turned out there was lavender in the ingredients, which yes did make it smell nice but why I would need that along side all of the other crap that goes into foundation anyway, I don't know!

I have had issues with Mac , Clinique, Laura mercier, nars, Bobby brown, Dior Angry

The learning process has been very expensive

I can tolerate no7 and Dr hauschka. Even no7 has to be high days and holidays only hauschka can be everyday wear.

I would leave Bare Minerals alone if you have allergies - it contains bismuth. Plenty of other mineral foundations that don't though, Lily Lolo for one.
