Polishing boots?

I bought these boots before Christmas when they were the full 120 Angry and they're looking a bit like they could do with some shoe polish around the toes except I don't know if there's a specific kind of polish I should get for this type of leather/boot? Anyone know? I haven't polished shoes since I was in school!

They look like normal leather to me so I would use a clear polish rather than a coloured one. Are you worried about making them shiny ?

Good old brown shoe polish (kiwi or cherry blossom) should do the trick. It will cost you a couple of pounds and lasts ages. Shoe repair shops/ key cutting shops stock them as do most supermarkets. You will need 2 brushes and these are harder to find. Shoe zone do an inexpensive brush set for around £3. Shoe repair shops charge much more and supermarkets don't seem to stock any. Online wasn't any cheaper by the time you add on p&p.

If you don't want them too shiny then don't use as much elbow grease at the brushing the polish off stage.
