Fine hair - for the chop?

My hair is fine and thinning. I've had it long (past shoulders), but cut it about 3 years ago to a mid length bob so it looked a bit thicker.

Now its going finer and thinner again, would fine hair suit being cut short

this 1st one www.prettydesigns.com/shag-hairstyles-16-amazing-shaggy-hairstyles/

or www.short-haircut.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Cute-short-bob-hairstyle.jpg

will making it look "messier" make it look thicker than if I style it sleek? Plus I have little time in the morning and CBA spending hours on it.

Thanks

I am in the exact same boat. currently well below shoulder length and I rough dry, add batiste powder and sea salt spray and messy upstyle but tired of it

I think short hair is really tricky to manage though.

i have exactly the same hair as you fine and thinning.

I had it cut jaw length last year, graduated at the back. I also have highlights added to give it texture and to help make it look thicker, which it does.

It's so much better, not difficult to maintain, though I do need to have it cut regularly. Worth it though, it's much better this length.

thanks both. might try highlights as well. I've let it go back to its natural colour as I couldn't tolerate colouring it, don't know why, after DD born.
