Chloasma/Melasma - your tips please

Just noticed the horrible marks are returning on my face now the sun is a bit stronger. arghh I hate it.

Anyone got any tips?
I avoid the sun as much as poss already. Can anyone maybe recommend a non-greasy, non- alcohol containing high factor facial sun block that goes on clear?

Sunscreen every day without fail and a hat are you best friends. I live in a very sunny city in Australia and use Clinique City Block every day or the Clinique sunblock in a yellow tube for going to the beach as its water resistant. "Clear" sunblocks all contain alcohol in my experience, so you're going to need to go with a cream.
