need a wardrobe overhaul but no idea where to start!

I basically want to get rid of everything in my wardrobe but I've no idea where to start on rebuilding my wardrobe, any advice?

What size are you? What do you like?

I'm currently a size 14 but trying to change that and then treat myself to some new clothes! to be honest I'm not really sure! I've spent so long just making do and wearing whatever looks ok because putting on weight really put a downer on my self esteem.

Maybe have a look at the Putting Me Together blog as there is a section on there about building a wardrobe from scratch.

Think about the balance you need between home/lounging clothes, smart casual clothes, work clothes etc. How often you do laundry and how easy it is to get laundry dry will impact. Think about what styles suit you, what colours you like, what fabrics feel and look good.

If you take all your current clothes out of your wardrobe and go through them you may find you can create new looks with different combinations, or with a few new tops etc.
