Pointy lace up ballet flats: where did that thread go??

Have just succumbed and ordered these New Look ones because I can't afford the Boden or Dune ones... But we did have a thread on here a while back with various recommendations, or did I dream it? I didn't like the look of the Next ones either.

Anone seen anything similar and affordable? In case the New Look ones aren't quite right....

I tried the Boden ones and swiftly returned them. My wide feet looked wretched in them and I found the suede very hard, so I was crippled almost immediately. I could foresee many blisters just trying to wear them in, so I sent them back. After a search around, I realised that the pointy toe was never going to work for me, so I ended up with these from M&S which are just lovely to wear and perfect for summer when everyone else will be sweating in their pointy toes:

They look fab with jeans and with maxi dresses. Sorted.

If I was going to get pointy ones, I think the Office leopard ones look good but they are out of stock.

Confused

Gosh. They are all awful!

..and for a heeled option (again, open toe) these are bloody gorgeous:

Tried the 6 on today but I need a 6.5 as Next shoes tend to come up small on me.

I like the open toe ones, but can't wear them yet and I want something now . Thanks for the suggestions Frankie

Ah, fair enough! Russell and Bromley have a beautiful pair but they are £££.

I bought the new look ones but took them back as I didn't like the gold on the heel, I thought it looked cheap in real life. Plus they were sooo hard. Got the next ones now and they look really cute on

TobikkoRoll · 23/03/2015 19:54

Janfebmarch I have rather wide feet so I'm afraid those Next ones might no hold me in! But I'll def take a look when I pick up those New Look ones later in the week. Thanks.

Office ones are v comfy. Get a bit sore at the end of a full day wearing them but no blisters or anything, just tired feet

CointreauVersial · 23/03/2015 22:17

I just bought the Next ones, and they are going straight back.

I have wide feet, and the front of the shoe barely covered my toes and cut right into the joint of my big toe. Excruciating.

They are gorgeous, though.... just a shame my feet aren't.
