Best hairbrush?

I bought my kids a Mason Pearson (child's) brush a few years ago and I've wanted to buy one for myself. However, I've not been that impressed with it and now the bristles are starting to fall out?

I have long, fine, straight hair that is really prone to static.

Can anybody recommend a good hairbrush, I don't mind paying out as long as it's good. Thanks.

I had a Goody one from Boots. It had number 3 written in it to reflect the stages/grades of brushes- probably 1 is for wet hair, 2 for blow drying etc. my toddler has put my brush somewhere but I found it helped a bit.

I have shoulder length fine hair, and I have been using a Tangle Teaser recently. I have used one on the DDs' hair for ages, but it dawned on me it would be perfect for beating the tangles in my own hair.

Denman brushes do well in my house

I like Head Jog brushes, they use the. at my hair salon and can be bought through Amazon. Also the Wet Brush is fantastic for getting through wet hair without snagging, prefer it to the tangle teezer.

Another vote for Tangle Teezer!

I second Denman brushes, my mother had extremely long fine hair and swore by 'em and I take after her in that department and I wouldn't use anything else.

De man brushes are amazing. They have long enough bristles to be able to put a pony tail up dead easily and the rubber base seems to stop static :)

Definitely tangle teezer, It's great! I have very fine hair too and it doesn't make it static and clears tangles from wet hair without damaging it
