Clinique make up

Hi there, I'm wanting to buy some of this, or get a voucher to put towards this for someone's birthday.
I'm not in the UK and have never used Clinique myself so have no idea about where's/what's best to buy or get a voucher for. Can you get a kind of 'assessment' for the most suitable clinique products, like a makeover or something; do Clinique consultants exist?? I did a tiny google search and I think John Lewis does something like that, but not completely sure. (Recipient is in the North West)

Are there any UK Clinique hacks that you guys can share with me please? My budget is pretty low, maybe 20-25 quid, so I know I probably won't get much for that :-( but want to, for once, get her a gift that is useful!!

Thanks in advance

If you/gift recipient goes to any clinique counter in boots/John Lewis/house of Fraser etc they will be happy to try and recommend products.

I really like the chubby sticks (a light lipstick) which I think is about £15

You wouldn't be able to get a Clinique voucher, your best bet is to buy a John Lewis or Debenhams voucher (or even Boots) which can be used to buy anything from the store.

Where in the NW is your recipient? If it's Liverpool there's a JL and a Debenhams - I'd choose those over Boots as they are department stores not just chemists - and they definitely do vouchers in the mail.

Oh also I think boots has a bonus time at the mo where you get a bag of gifts if you buy 2 items. Worth timing your purchase for a bonus time.

And yes, Clinique do makeovers and will advise on things to get Smile.

thanks guys, yes its Liverpool Capn. I figured JL would be the place to go there, but thats interesting about the Boots bonus gifts: thats kind of what I was asking about - if there was anything people knew of outside the regular stores. I know the counters would do recommendations but didn't know if there was a specific Clinique service.

Will probably go with a JL voucher

The Clinique chubby sticks have been a hit seller recently if you wanted to get something under 25 quid? I have one for lips in the shade Mega Melon and it's lovely. Most are sheer wearable colours. Alternatively they do a range of lovely flower shaped blushes that are fantastic for spring.

The good thing is that Clinique share out the bonus gifts between the retailers, so if you miss out on the one from Boots (ends 28 March) there will almost certainly be another one along soon in Debenhams or John Lewis.
