What is trendy for skinny 15 year old?

Hi,
We need some emergency help. Dd15 is going on school trip tomorrow to Paris.

We have just discovered most of what she was going to bring is a little bit small. She is a adult size 6 possibly 8.

So far we have agreed on converse boots, skinny jeans and a superdry hooded jacket.

But it will be cold. She will need layers as they will leave hotel early morning and not be back until late.

I think a scarf would be good, she thinks 15 year old don't do scarves.

She wants a rucksack handbag. I think it will get pickpocketed!

Help.

Hope you've managed to find something.

How long will she be there? Converse could be a problem if it rains?

How about a plain black T-shirt, checked shirt over that, then a zip up hoody, followed by a light weight rain jacket that will keep the rain and wind out, but fold up really small to go in her bag if not needed?

I think my dd would probably want to take a rucksack too. Maybe find one of those purses that you can wear fastened around your waist under your clothes to keep her money and passport in? They're usual with the plug adaptors and stuff in Boots or supermarkets.

Would she wear some sort of snood instead of a scarf? Doesn't need to be thick, but would still keep her warm and there are some lovely ones around - I saw a lovely one with owls on in peacocks yesterday for a fiver!

Thanks Now we have managed to get the packing done. We are going to go with the snood as she has a cream one and a Hollister hoody and she found a black top she liked to go with her Harem pants.

They are there for four days but each morning leaving hotel at 9am and returning for 9pm so it is difficult to plan for such a full day.

We are going to go with 2 pair of converse in case one gets wet. Its less than ideal but thats where we are. Although the weather looks ok for next few days.

Doc martins for the feet ?

Carrie5608 · 22/03/2015 15:59

Any doc Martens would probably br perfect but there are not Dd's style at all.

She isn't big into clothes or make up. She tends to have things she likes and then just lives in them. I think she will be the lightest packed of all the girls. Smile
