Short denim dungarees

I was in Topshop earlier and was really tempted to buy these for my hol in Florida. Am I mad at 39?

I really like them and dont see why anyone cant wear them. They are just shorts with a bib part. I think they look cute. I would wear them and im in my 40's. If you have the figure for them, why not?

IMHO, no. I would think any 39 year old wearing those was trying too hard. Especially as they are light demin, if they were patterned I would think they were trendy. Sorry for being ageist!

The light denim does put me off i have to agree. Would much rather a vintage colour. What about black or patterned? Its not about age though. Try them on. Do they look right on you? If they do, sod what anyone else thinks!

I'm 37 and have an almost identical pair that I bought last summer, I like them as a casual jeans type outfit, with a t shirt and Converse.

Purely for holidays

This is why I questioned myself! I am quite happy in shorts, it's the dungarees bit that put me off. I can be a bit quirky in my dress sense, size 12, have pixie cut bleached hair, but what is your typical 39 yr old style Anyway not got the time to get them now. Got to remember I am not Jennifer Anniston in Friends

I am in my 40s and have a similar pair from last year. Wore them on holiday a lot. Go for it.

If you like them and they suit you, get them! I want a denim pinafore dress myself

If you are going to be in Florida won't they feel too warm anyway?
