Bra advice, I need some different brands/styles to try!

Can anyone advise me on some good styles to try? I think I am a 36K, and currently wearing the Elomi Caitlyn bras in that size which feel supportive and comfy on the whole. I just ordered a Freya Gem one in that size and it feels totally wrong, the cup seems baggy, little support and I bounce all over the place. I'm so disappointed as Freya used to be ideal (I had loads of the Millie that fitted really well in a 36J but that's been discontinued, and I think I have gone up a cup size since then)

Is there anything like the Caitlyn that I could try? I can't get up to London to try on in person atm, so will have to order online.

Also - I can never get the wires to lay flat on my chest between my boobs, my boobs are pushed right together no matter what style of bra I try. Is this normal?

Thanks for any advice!

The experts will no doubt be along soon but if the middle bit is not laying flat, you're wearing the wrong size.

Try measuring using instructions on here thebetterbracampaign.blogspot.co.uk/p/fitting-advice.html?m=1

Yes, I've done that, and been fitted in a small local bra shop - they said it didn't matter. Seriously, there is no room for the wires to lie flat!

Now I'm not an expert but I'd be very surprised if that were the case.

Go to Bravissimo.com and put your size in. They do their own styles and most go up to a J or K. But they also stock Panache, Fantasies, Freya etc. I found the easiest way to do it was just put my size (34JJ) in and see what came up. I don't suit Freya and Panache come too high under my arms (5ft4). But they have lots of options. Good luck. Trying to find a good bra is a flicking nightmare.

I have ridiculously close set breasts (not really any gap), but at least part of the central gore always sits right in between my breasts - often the gore pushes them apart slightly.

Generally the gore not being able to get in between the breasts - if not 100% flat due to breast shape - is a sign that the cup is too small and often that the band is a bit loose so isn't pulling the gore in enough.
