DH doesn't have the time to go shopping. He works long hours and can think of better things to do with his spare time. Ever since I've known him, he has hated me shopping on his behalf, not because he doesn't like my taste, but because he gets depressed when clothes don't fit him. He's 5'6", M in tops and 34" waist. So he's basically short and broad chested. He's 38 yo. He runs his own company and looks amazeballs in a suit. For the family at the weekend, we're treated to 10year old tracksuit bottoms that he nicked off a mate
and t shirts from Bhs, M&S and debenhams. As an effort he'll throw on a pair of old jeans and old white trainers.
I got him a pair of tan chinos shorts and a black t shirt from river island yesterday in his sizes. He was so pissed off because the top was slim fit (even tho the shop assistant assured me it wasn't) and the shorts wouldn't even do up. He reiterated that he appreciates the thought, but not to bother
So instead of resorting back to the shops that my 70 yr old dad shops at, are there any other shops I can try that are a standard fit but fairly trendy?
Occasionally I do get something
