Eye makeup

I'm going shopping tomorrow and I am looking for new eye makeup. I am finding powder eye shadow rather dull and I'm looking for something dark and sparkling that is a) easy to apply as I'm not good at applying it and b) doesn't smudge so I look like a Kiss tribute act.

Any advice is much appreciated

Get yourself to a By Terry counter and take a look at the cream shadow sticks. They're gorgeous.

Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier make similar.

Thanks I will have a look. I'm not sure where I can get By Terry other than Space NK and I know that there isn't a branch where I am going. I can look at Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier though.
