Has anyone had their eyelashes permanently curled? Any good?

Just that really.

I saw it on the Lisa Eldridge website who doesn't make me green with envy at all btw and I thought it looked really good.

I have really straight eyelashes, which I'm constantly curling and it never lasts. Heat, humidity, even the cold bizarrely, straightens them again.

So yeah, just wondering if anyone has had this done and what the results were.

TIA Smile

Given that eyelashes shed every few weeks or so you'll probably have to have it done on a regular basis anyway, but I have a friend who has this done and with a few extra lash inserts at the same time, and I must admit it does look great.

I have it done a couple of times a year - before summer holidays and Christmas. I get a tint too. Love the effect, lasts 6 weeks for me but it is expensive (£65 where I go). It's great in the summer not having to put make up on , swimming and sunbathing etc. Could be addictive, but good therapists won't let you do it repeatedly without decent breaks, I think that would be pretty bad for lashes, I haven't had any problems.

Yeah, I'm worried about damaging my eyelashes, but also, cost is something of an issue right now. Although hopefully that won't be so much the case soon

So it's not just London you can get it done then?

I assume not, but I am in London Grin

glugglugglug · 20/03/2015 13:18

It just sounds like one of those treatments which would only be available in the city. I'm in Cambridge, so I'll have a Google.

I have mine done for holidays and the like when I don't want to faff with them all the time. I'm like Mr Snuffleupagus otherwise! It's good but it's risky if you end up with a crap beautician who burns your eyes out.

Have you tried a heated curler and waterproof mascara combo? That's what I do for day to day.

Chicinwellies · 20/03/2015 14:50

Yes yes ! Google yumi lashes. Has lasted 3 months in the past and worth every penny

Lovewearingjeans · 20/03/2015 16:27

They are LVL lashes and I can get it done in the wilds of Suffolk!

niminypiminy · 20/03/2015 16:39

If you are in Cambridge the Beauty Salon at CRC does eyelash perms for £28 price list here

MooMinCow · 20/03/2015 16:43

I've had the LVL treatment she has in her video. Costs about £35 my way. Great results, lasts 4-6 weeks but I did experience some lashes falling out after. Would only have it once or twice a year to be honest

FortyFacedFuckers · 20/03/2015 16:45

I get lvl lashes (£45 in Scotland) I love them

Neena28 · 20/03/2015 17:00

Me too. Lvl ones. 40 in Midlands including the tint. I agree that it's a fab result and do for Xmas and holidays only to save lashes. They look great

BeaLola · 20/03/2015 19:59

I had this done just before Christmas. Cost £35 and I would definitely do again before say holiday or special occasion. It was lovely not yo wear mascara. Re lashes falling out mentioned above - you shed yr lashes naturally anyway?
