What is the sizing like in the Dotty P petite range?

Hi there. I don't live in the UK and struggle to find petite clothes. I'm 5 foot 2 and trousers are always too long so I have been looking at Dorothy Perkins petite online. They deliver to the country I'm in but postage isn't cheap especially if I end up having to return things...

I'm a size 8 in some shops/clothes and a 10 in others so was wondering what their sizing is like. According to their size guide I would be a 10 (Eur 38) but the number of times I have ordered a 10 and sent it back so just wondering if anyone here could guide me a bit. Thank you!

I have a lovely pair of dotty p's petite jeans. I tried them on in the shop to get the right size, found I was an 8. Picked up another pair (same style) in a different colour. Got home, couldn't even get the other pair over my arse!!!! Same style, same size, same material. I think in that pair I'd have been a 12.

So I'd order a range!

Ok, sounds like I should go for a 10 then. Normally I order an 8 and a 10 and send back the one that doesn't fit. Would like to avoid too much postage to the UK however! I might end up doing that anyway and too bad for the postage, would be worth it for trousers that aren't too long and a couple of dresses that don't make me look like I'm playing at dressing up in my big sister's clothes. I just ordered some stuff from h and m and had to send it back as it was all too long.

I am a 10 in DP trousers I'm under 5ft they are a bit long but not much our local store has reduced their petite stock assistant told me the were down in sales or something

Do Next deliver to where you are? I've lived in their Petite range for EVER and I find they are pretty true to size

Yaaay it's so nice to get stuff that fits properly
