Hair dye that actually covers grey roots

Any recommendations have tried a few lately that have just not covered my grey roots at all.
Tried prodigy in tan, a couple of semi permanents too was using nice and easy for a while but the colour wasn't great for me.
Any suggestions welcome- I'm after a Kate Middleton browny/red but don't like hair that looks obviously dyed Iyswim

you could try Root touch-up think its made by Clairol. I use it in between hairdresser colouring. Have dark ish brown hair colour naturally although its almost completely grey at this stage Sad. It gives good coverage and I get an extra month before relying on the professionals.
