Dior glow maximiser or YSL touché éclat blur perfector?

Have recently had a look at SaliHughes beauty after some threads on here.
I'm in need of some 'extra bit of something' at the moment after a bout of illness (still feeling pretty rough really). She's raved about both of the above and I love the idea of a bit of radiance. Currently wear double wear light with mac mineralise skinfinish natural. Have a £5 voucher from debs so thought I might get one of the above.
Any experiences of these or recommendations of other super products? In case it makes a difference- I used the clarins beauty flash balm and couldn't work out what the fuss was about!

I do realise the ysl isn't about radiance but might make me less full on matt than powder was my thinking!

I use Bourjois 'Happy Light' primer and it makes me all glowy, used under Healthy Mix serum foundation with Soap and Glory 'Glow All Out' powder dusted lightly as a sort of bronzer / highlighter thing. I have pale skin, combination with a tendency to redness and greyness when tired. The primer is definitely worth a try I'd say, it's magic stuff.

I have dior glow maximiser, used it twice so far and might have seen a slight increase in glow..not sure though

See if you can get samples of either as they are spendy if they end up being much of anything products

Thanks for these! I'll have a look at the bourgeois one. You right about samples- just not easy to get to the department stores!

I've never tried the YSL but I LOVE the Dior. I wear it every day and really see a difference. It's not sparkly or shimmery, my skin just looks much nicer, possibly what would be termed "radiant" in the glossies. I asked the Dior sales lady to put some in a wee pot so I could try it, then bought the tube a few days later because I was so impressed. It lasts forever (I just put one pump on the back of my hand then apply with fingers) so it's well worth the initial outlay.

Do you mind me asking which foundation you use it under?

Have you tried the Estee Lauder Idealist Skintone Illuminator? It really does make my skin look amazing, even without makeup. I can't find it on their web site but I'm sure you'll be able to get it on eBay etc. I'm now panicking that it's been discontinued!

Howaboutthisone I use a YSL foundation, not the Touch Éclat one though, it's the one that comes in a brush, something like Radiant Touch.

Thanks! I'll have a look at the Estée Lauder one too. I might need to look at my foundation too- long lasting has been amazing with double wear light but I am feeling a bit 'flat' now!
