nightwear

Can anyone help me? A bit of an unusual request:

I am about to have a major foot operation and am looking for something to wear afterwards as I have to be in bed for several weeks. I have already bought some nice M&S pyjamas and soft sleep bras to wear in the daytime, so I feel a bit like I am "dressed" as opppsed to being in nightwear (yes I know it is nightwear but they ate more lounging pyjama types).

At night at the moment I usually wear nothing, or a short-sleeved cotton nightshirt, or even a long t-shirt, but these do tend to ride up and expose my bum(!) in the night. I normally don't really notice this till I wake up, so it doesn't matter, but I believe I am going to be finding it a lot harder to sleep after the surgery, so am looking for a longer nightie to wear, which does not ride up and need adjusting. I like 100% cotton and it must have short sleeves, I just cannot sleep with long sleeves on.

Any ideas?

Knitted cotton jersey is comfy and looks fresh for longer.
If a nightie, ankle length is discreet.
Can't beat m ans s.

All nightshirts will ride up. Maybe try pyjama shorts, along these lines.

Thanks for that, I have ordered the Iris and Edie pyjamas and will see how they go!

Just wanted to say that I got those pyjamas and thanks for the recommendation! Just spent the night in hospital following my operation and everything else is uncomfortable and painful but the pyjamas are lovely and made it all a bit more bearable!
