8 week beautifying plan to be gorgeous for holiday in May - but how?

I'm 50 ish and want to feel wonderful when I go off to the sun in 9 weeks time, rather than wishing I'd done something beforehand to help myself look and feel better as is usually the case.

I'd like to lose about 5lbs, get my skin looking as good as it can, tone up, plus the usual hair nails, feet and feel more energetic.

Problem is i don't really know how to organise the next 8 weeks so I don't tire of the beautifying routine or peak too early.

Can anyone help me with a plan?

May I join you? I've a week away third week of June. And then main holiday in August. I'd like to shift around 20 pounds as a start and look a bit fresher, healthier and more toned. Going to try to walk for 30 minutes five days per week and get a regular beauty routine going.

I've already had my holiday this year, which is good because reading about carrie's regime made me feel nauseous.

I think I'm going to get eyelash extensions before I go away next time, just because. They last a good three-four weeks apparently.

Reading with interest but wondering about the body brushing and moisturising that many of you are advocating. What effect does it have? Toning? Preparing skin for tanning? Would love to know, thanks!

I'd like to join - going away for May half term and need to look after myself a bit better. I don't need to lose weight really but my tum needs toning before I get a bikini on! I plan to:

  1. Carry on running 3 x per week
  2. Take daily womens multi vit + fish oil (started today)
  3. No more booze
  4. Loofah my skin in the shower
  5. Get the hard skin off my horrid feet
  6. Nail oil for my poor dry split nails
  7. Epsom salt bath 1 x per week
  8. Eat more nuts/avocado/fruit/veg and cut back on processed food

I have a sore throat and feel rubbish today - just want to be all shiny and healthy! stomps foot crossly
