I applied my self tan 2pm this afternoon, just on my arms as a trial to see what the colour was like. It says to leave 6-8 hours before having a shower. So I thought I would leave it over night.
I washed my hair just now and when I finished, it looked like I had a long dribbles up my forearms, I'm assuming where the water had run by mistake?

What's going to happen when I shower after applying the full tan before a night out? Will I end up all streaky or did I just not leave it long enough to work? Could it be the shampoo that removed the colour? I know the guide colour it supposed to wash off but not just in lines. It was more like clear snail trails rather than streaks.

If you get it wet during the 6-8 hrs it will be streaky. I suggest getting fake bake 60 minute tan! very good colour and only waiting an hour is much better Grin

Is it just the guide colour that's washed off? I think I'd give it a good scrub! Hope it's just that as it sounds like you left it long enough?

Do you mean the water has just dribbled up your arms and made streaks?
If so you need to wash it off properly now or they will stay!!
When you shower off fake tan properly I the showere it won't do this because you are washing it off properly.
Once you have applied the tan you're not meant to get wet until you're ready to wash it off.
Think of it like when you cry down your makeup you get lines when you wash your face properly you don't :)

Do you just use water to wash it? Will soap completely remove it?
