Any bra experts around ?

After a brilliant bra intervention on here last year I have been wearing Elomi 38H bras, (I was previously wearing 42d's measured by M&S which did not fit me).

I need to buy a new bra and wanted to try a different make possibly Curvey Kate as Elomi don't do many white bras. Does anyone know what size would be a good starting point? I have read online that Elomi bras are sized generously so presumably will need a larger band width. There isn't anywhere near me that I can try on.

If Curvey Kate bras are rubbish I am open to suggestions.

Curvy Kate do some lovely designs. They tend to run small in the cup so you will need to size up. What styles do you like? Have you tried Sculptress by Panache?

Curvy Kate bras are fine as a rule but do run a bit big in the cup. They tend to be quite wide cups but I think Elomi do as well.

As Sorrel mentioned I've heard good things about Sculptresse. SOme of the Bravissimo own brand bras are also very good and offer good support.

Two completely different opinions on cup sizes Smile I am open to suggestions sculptresse do look very nice, wish there was somewhere I could just go and try them on.

I don't thinks bravissimo go up to my size. I lam comfortable in the Elomi bras I have, only problem is the cups sometimes show above v-neck tops.

Which Elomi bras do you have that work well for you? That would possibly help me figure out other potential styles for you.

Curvy Kate are a bit erratic so I'm not surprised you got conflicting answers. Most of their older styles are loose in the band and small in the cup but it really depends on the shape.

Bravissimo go up to a 40L so they should be able to find you something Smile

Sorry, I meant to say big in the band, small in the cup! I'm a bit dopey just now (injured.) But MND is correct in that they're not as consistent as some of the other brands.
