Sizing New Balance trainers

I have seen some New Balance trainers on the Office website. Does their sizing come up wide? I have very narrow feet. Also is the length true to size? TIA

I have 420's and would say they are standard in width but come up short in length.

I have 420's and would say pretty standard but if you are a half size I would probably go up rather than down. I don't think they are wide fitting I have one foot wider and it's a bit tight on that foot.

Thank you

I have 470's. I am a 6.5 with very wide feet. I got size 7 which are just long enough, but plenty wide enough once I had loosened the laces from how they were shipped.

The different styles fit differently width wise. But all are short in length, I sized up a full size.

Another one who found they came up small and had to loosen the laces for a comfortable fit. Loving them now though.

When everyone says go up a size, are you saying the US size/EU size or UK size. I am trying to order online from New Balance and their US-UK-EU size conversions don't tally with any other conversion charts. I'm a UK 8, EU 42. What size should I order?

MyOtherDogIsAPorsche · 17/03/2015 13:36

Riro - I am also a size 8/42 and I am wearing a UK size 8.5/eu size 42.5, US 9. I also found the whole sizing thing confusing and had to return my first pair. Happy in these ones now, though, as already said, they do come very tightly laced and need loosening.

Thank you. That is so helpful.

I'm usually UK 4 (or 4.5 in Clarks), my New Balance 420 are UK 5.

Are they tight/ high on the heel/ ankle? As well as having incredibly narrow feet, I also have shallow feet (not much height between the sole of my foot and my ankle) and lots of shoes cut into my ankle.

Pookbob sounds like we gave similar feet - what other brands can you recommend? I'm fed up with new look wide fitting range!
