linen dresses? Anyone...

anywhere?

Everything seems to be made of bloody viscose.

I just want some nice linen shift / sun / dresses maybe with a bit of lycra (2%) for give (so I don't end up with a dress with a baggy arse).

Can't seem to find any anywhere. Everything seems to be jersey (god how I hate the cling of jersey) or the aforementioned viscose.

Wall had a lovely knee length denim linen shift dress. Only £149 Grin

Poetry are good at this sort of thing. Not cheap mind....

Frostycake · 16/03/2015 16:00

Ah, those Next dresses are lovely but the problem I find with Next is that everyone else thinks the same. Nothing worse than glancing around the park, shopping centre, cafe to see everyone wearing your dress! Grin

Yes Orange I've seen the Wall dress but the price Shock

I can't get on with Poetry at all. It's all a bit too floppy for me. I need structure in my clothes otherwise I look like I'm wearing a sack.

Have a look at Poetry. Expensive but the linen is good quality.

I have a nice Boden one which I bought in their eBay shop last season. Has worn really well and the price was right.

Frostycake · 16/03/2015 16:45

Yes, Alpaca I have a few boden ones so I think I may stick with them. They're a bit 'pear-shaped' for me though - I'm an apple - so I feel a bit hemmed in by the restricted bust area and not altogether flattered by the A-line shape (I have thin legs and a small bum) but agree with you that they wear well.

I want a black one - been looking for a while now... Sad

Keep an eye on TK Max. Here's a link to one that looks nice. I got a lovely one in there a few weeks ago for about £25, I think it was an Italian label called Lina Tomei but can't see any on the website.www.tkmaxx.com/view-all-womenswear/sleeveless-linen-dress/invt/30057365
