Ghd classic curve wand? What am I doing wrong

Got this for Christmas after buying from JL - my hairdresser showed me how to use it. I'm growing my hair (the ends are quite bleached so I'm limiting use of hairstyling tools) but I have used it a couple of times. The curls are not holding well and dropping out after a couple of hours. Am using product and hairspray! Advice anyone?

We retail these,and to be honest they're rubbish, the curl doesn't hold anywhere near as long as doing it with the normal straighteners, I know people who have bought them and are now trying to sell them!!-sorry!!

Thanks planned they were in a set so I effectively only paid £30 for them. The ghd hairdryer and eclipse straighteners I got with them are great though! I have curled my hair with the eclipse and they are great. Why did ghd bring them out?!!!

Hmm, I use mine and Love them! I have fine long blonde hair and these are great for me x

The curl is just know way near as good as with the straighteners told our rep and she reckons its been 50/50 with professionals, we either love or hate them! I think they brought them out because people struggle to get to grips with the technique of the twist which obviously you don't do with the wand.

I haven't got this particular wand but have a babyliss one and the eclipse straighteners. I personally find curls hold all night and te next day using my wand but drop straight out of I use the straighteners

I have the tong rather than the wand, and it doesn't hold the curl at all. Really not impressed.

Ghd sent me some links to You Tube videos - hmmm I will have to try
