Best ladder resistant tights?

Please could somebody help? It feels like the time has come to stop wearing my thick black tights. I'm looking for ladder resistant tights that don't cost the earth, look good and don't bag around the ankles, and are made to last reasonably well.

Last year I wore Autograph ones and they were good, but the latest online reviews suggest they have changed the design for the worst. I find the Tesco ladder resistant tights too thick and long. So where do I go from here? Pretty Polly? Or am I going to have to splash out more than £10/pair - yikes!

Interesting about Autograph reviews. I have always been a fan but got two pairs recently for a special event and was very disappointed. So watching this with interest.

Well, I've just been to Boots and they had a 3 for 2 offer on hosiery plus some tights (not ladder resist) down to £1.32 for two pairs, if that helps anyone. I got some of those and a few other pairs, only some of which are ladder resist. They don't look brilliant but at least they were cheap! If anyone has any tips/advice for better sources please help!

I was always happy to pay the price for Autigraph - wouldn't want to go cheaper than those - because they fitted well and look good. But this year's don't seem nearly as long.
