I need award ceremony hair and make up recommendations!

I'm going to London to receive an award in the next few weeks. I'll be staying near Russell Square/Great Ormond Street in London.

Can anyone recommend anywhere I could have my hair done and maybe make up? Don't want to risk just choosing somewhere randomly without real life recommendations.

I've not been for a while (moved offices) but used to get my hair cut at Brooks and Brooks on Sicilian Avenue, which isn't far from where you're staying. They were great. I think a lot of their staff work as session stylists as well so may be able to suggest makeup options. Congrats on the award!
