Off on hols early on Fri morning…

I have booked a Fake Bake lady to come to the house at 12.30pm on Thurs afternoon while DC are both out.

However just found out I need to go to a school meeting at 5pm that day. Am I going to be dark brown & streaky??

Was planning on showering it off before bed on Thurs night, seeing as we're leaving v early on Fri.

This timing isn't going to work, is it….is it worth doing it on the Weds? Or will it have faded by the time I'm on a sun-lounger on Sat morning??!!

Advice welcome!!

You will be looking quite brown but not as much as later in the evening. But, if you wear clothes you run the risk of rubbing the tan off in certain places where there is friction, you already should not wear a bra for the rest of the day after a spray tan, nor shoes. And you will smell of fake tan too.

Cancel the school meeting or have it via conference call?

If you have it done Wednesday there may be some fading by saturday.

Thanks for your reply flux - unfortunately I can't cancel the meeting as it's involving lots of people. Think I'll have to just go away pasty - arse!

you will look like you have had gravy browning thrown over you - don't do it!

can you get your hands on some of the fake bake 60 miutes stuff? you could then do yourself after the meeting, wash off (i leave it on for 3 hours) then you look fab in the morning...could be an option?

IME Fake Bake used to go on green so you may look very odd indeed! But that was the DIY kind.

If you could book a late appointment on the Wednesday afternoon/evening, leave it on overnight and wash it off on the Thursday morning or should be fine.
Make sure your skin is well moisturised. Mine will stay on for at least a week if my skin is not too dry.
