Whistles Duffy - oh, what colour?!

I would like to purchase the Whistles Duffy bag this weekend whilst the Grazia discount is around - but what colour? Navy or black? I have been eyeing it for weeks, thinking I would buy black when the discount popped up, but now it has I'm dithering! Help! I love navy at the moment but worry that it will look old fashioned at some point...
Your advice would be much appreciated!

I can only see navy or dark grey on the website.

Sorry, ignore that, found it. Black would go better with my wardrobe in general, navy might be more useful over summer but my second choice would be grey. Do you have black/any already?

I have black clutch bags and a very old DVF bag which is pony skin, so furry and no good for spring / summer. I do have a couple of tan bags which I use in the summer. I've seen the grey Duffy and not sure about the shade (I prefer charcoal grey) - have you seen it in the flesh? I live in the sticks so not much chance of having a look anytime soon.

No I haven't seen it in the flesh but it definitely doesn't look charcoal. Personally I prefer the black, it looks a bit edgier. I like navy but I'm not sure about that bag in navy. If you want it to last a good few years black may be a more useful colour.

I'm returning it after 1 week of use.

Leather is cracked and peeling. It looks awful after just a few hours of use.

Littlepinkpear I am surprised to hear that. I have had mine for almost a year and use it every day and it still looks as good as new. My friend has had one for even longer. I love mine

I would go for grey, on the basis that you can wear it with both black and navy outfits. I also think that grey works well all year round - you could wear it with a white cotton dress in the summer - whereas black would be too heavy.

The grey is gorgeous, very versatile! I really need to stay away from this board, I didn't even realise there was a Grazia discount till I read this thread - 20 minutes later I've bought a Jett biker jacket. Beans on toast for the rest of the month it is then.....
