Please help me find a leather bag without a logo

I'd love a new leather bag but can't justify spending more than around £350 on one. I'd love a leather bag without any obvious logos. If anyone knows of any such bag please tell me about it.

I like mint velvet bags. The leather is soft and there is no logo. The selection isn't fantastic at the moment. I'm hoping they'll have more for spring/summer.

Crazy8 · 13/03/2015 12:04

Thanks. I'll keep an eye out. Hopefully they'll have a discount code soon.

I have a grandala bag as recommended on here. No logos with a good selection of styles and colours.

The bags are around £200, but have have frequent sales.

Whistles. Bags are lovely, logo-free and within your budget. Or my perennial obsession, Mimi Berry!

Slightly cheaper are Oushka, again all logo-free and some very lust-worthy styles.

zinnia · 13/03/2015 12:25

forgot to add: have also been reading about Village England recently but not encountered any of their bags IRL. They look nice though.

Crazy8 · 13/03/2015 12:25

Thanks for all the overly suggestions. I'm living the Oushka and Grandala range. I think I'm in love with the chocolate and gold Oushka bag at the moment. Decisions, decisions!

I'm loving the Village England bags. I now have the problem of wanting lots of bags!!

Welcome to my life Smile

TheWildRumpyPumpus · 13/03/2015 13:17

I love my Rib and Hull bag!

thesaurusgirl · 13/03/2015 14:09

I love nice bags but detest designer labels.

I buy from Russell & Bromley and Pickett. Now and then LK Bennett.

Smythson, Tod's and Hogan are very discreetly branded.

Etsy and Folksy have some lovely leather bags and great value as they're handmade by low-key sellers.

zinnia · 13/03/2015 15:55

I love Etsy et al but am always a bit chary of buying bags on there because you're never sure of the quality. I like to feel my bags before I buy.

On which note, Crazy8 I see from our good friend Google that House of Fraser are stocking some Village England styles...

Tusting - www.tusting.co.uk. Fantastic quality leather and workmanship and no logos on most. If the one you liked had a logo they would make it without if you asked.

Brillenbar · 13/03/2015 16:10

I second Tusting. I got this one www.tusting.co.uk/branwell-leather-tote-black-quilted-1.html for Christmas and the leather is lovely, it is so well thought through with pockets and ability to zip it up, and its a lovely size, not big, but big enough to take an A4 pad. If you sign up with them sometimes they give 10% off.

CeeceeBloomingdale · 13/03/2015 16:21

I have a gorgeous and total unbranded bag from & other stories

lavendersun · 13/03/2015 16:27

Brillenbar - I always tell the story of sending my 20 year old bag back to them last year for repair - 20 years, still looks fab. I have four bags from them, DH has a bag and a wash bag - we really love their stuff.

Silverjohnleggedit · 13/03/2015 16:30

I hate external branding. Russell and Bromley have started sticking their labels on the outside...even on their shoes....so tacky. I thought Village England had external branding too. Tusting bags are lovely, dh buys them. Have a look at Toast.

Crazy8 · 13/03/2015 16:50

Thanks Zinnia. I'll have a look. I have so many choices now. I'd like a new bag every week Grin

Someone linked to this Zara one on another thread... It's very nice, but I have just bought two other bags Blush so can't justify a third!

tethersend · 13/03/2015 16:58

Also like this Jaeger one.

What sort of bag are you after?

Crazy8 · 13/03/2015 17:11

More help required please!! I love the Kimbolton from Tusting and also the Etta from Oushka. Which one and which colour? I know the are totally different but I love them both.

OP posts:
zinnia · 13/03/2015 17:20

Oh god just as I was tryigng to keep the bag obsession under control...

Personally prefer the Oushka Etta, but I like a soft bag. Not so keen on the ponyskin version but the other three are all lovely. The gold or pewter more casual than the cheetah print perhaps? Metallics go with everything.

Sixpencenonethericher · 13/03/2015 18:09

I've got this one it's lovely and only a bit of discreet writing on it

I've just bought a Campomaggi Goitti and it's lovely.
There's loads of gorgeous bags on there.
