Perfume Challenge!

Greetings all you perfume-a-philes!

I like to associate perfumes with different times in my life, student days = Body Shop Dewberry, Honeymoon = Angel, etc

So,what I'm looking for is a very gorgeous perfume to wear during our long awaited family Summer holiday. It needs to be a pungent fragrance, not too expensive.

I already have Angel, Alien, Womanity and generally go for these types of "hit you in the face" smells!

I also love La Vie est Belle, Chance and Si but would like some completely new ideas.

Also have you tried the T Muglier Garden of Star, there are 3 different ones with my favourite being Peony. Can't get them in the shops but have bought off ebay

Looove Flowerbomb but not willing to pay the price!

Apparently one of Madonna's smells similar to FB - Truth or Dare, I think.

The smell-alike off that cheap site was rubbish though.

I've recently started wearing Hermes Elixir Des Merveilles which is gorgeous and I've had loads of compliments when wearing it - a sort of rich salty orange which works beautifully in winter and summer. There's also their Eau Des Merveilles which is a lighter version of the same thing.

When I was trying perfumes on in the shop (mine had been discontinued so I needed to find something, had been trying several over the course of a few weeks) I wasn't that bothered by it the first time I smelt it - but when I came back to it after about 3 minutes, I was hooked! And still love it now.

I discovered Estee Lauders Bronze Goddess (dreadful name) and its summer in a bottle! they bring it out every year so you will have to wait a bit before they have it in the shops. But do look out for ir and give it a try. Its different, a bit unusual but for me its addictive and quite long lasting.

Are you going through a decent size airport? Try the l'occitane grasse fragrances - there are a few so you will find one you love, they last really well and aren't too pricey. I love jasmin and bergamot, and it really reminds me of summer as I bought a bottle for a holiday last year. Or have a look at the roger and gallet range in marks and spencer. I love osmanthus.

I have chance, and angel, so maybe like sinilar smells to you op - at the moment I am loving boss ma vie, Jo Malone vanilla and anise. Also cerruti for women the pink one (not the name), and Prada candy is really nice too
zap I bought Hermes after trying and loving it a year prior, after a couple of uses I absolutely hated it! Was gutted as I remember really loving it the first time

Been my favourite for years. First wore it when I lived abroad in a hot climate and have never looked back.
