Night out outfit thread?

I've a night out coming up but been out of S &B action for a while due to pregnancy/small baby. What's dressy casual these days? Heels or flats? Any links or descriptions of favourite outfits much appreciated so that I have something to mull over during night feeds...

Watching this thread with interest .

I've had a few nights out recently and a kimono jacket over leather skinnies' or printed trousers with plain top have been my go to items. I wear ankle boots or heels.

Also watching this thread in the hope of inspiration. Have a couple of parties coming up and no idea what to wear.

I like a jumpsuit. If you get one in black or navy, you can accessorise according to situation. I might accessorise with different coloured belts, denim or sparkly kimono jacket, heels or flats. They are much more wearable than you think. Or I wear skinny jeans with a smart blouse/top.
