Searching for a frock coat...?

I'm off to Ascot this year (Ladies Day) and wanted a shift dress/ frock coat combo to wear. Maybe a plain shift and a jazzy coat?

I do have a hot pink shift that I could upcycle with a coat. If I could find a coat!

I'm a 16 (but norks are more 18), so a long, streamlined look is what I'm after. Ive had success with East before now, but all they have in is BoHo stuff. I wrote and asked them about it, but got such an airy fairy reply amounting to 5 paragraphs but giving me no answer.

Ive checked out Hobbs, Monsoon, Phase 8, Coast and Gray & Osbourne (in desperation).

Colours - given the choice, maybe blues/ greys etc. I'm blond, fair skinned with blue eyes.

Are you lovely lot of MN vipers able to help?

If you make it all about the coat ... and then it's a hot day and you have to take it off ... you might feel a bit bland
