Can you help me accessorise this dress?

I'm wearing this dress to a formal daytime event.

Now I'm panicking that it is not special enough. So perhaps accessories would help?

I have pale grey heels to wear with this, but would it be too awful to wear floral shoes with it, such as [[www.coast-stores.com/aurelia-printed-dress./short-dresses/coast/fcp-product/1395780?locale=en these]]????

Some kind of necklace perhaps? I'd really appreciate some suggestions.

Lovely dress.

Not sure about pale grey or floral heels, though.

Could you choose one of the colours from the floral design for the shoes - the fuscia pink or that goldish colour?

The dress is pretty, but due to the floral pattern, which makes it a bit busy, I'd stay away from floral shoes and would instead choose simple, coordinated accessories.

The neckline is quite high, so I don't know about a necklace. I would perhaps choose a pink pearl bracelet and matching earrings. Pearls are classic jewelry for daytime, and I think a pale pink would go nicely with both the dress and your grey shoes.

Do you have a matching grey handbag? Preferably something small and made out of good quality leather. A clutch bag or even a vintage style would look really nice.

If it's a formal daytime event, I would also wear a hat or fascinator. The style is entirely up to you. If it's an outdoor event, you could wear something larger and more dramatic, and something smaller for indoors.

Also, are you going to wear some kind of coat? I don't know when your event takes place, but I always need a coat/jacket/shawl, etc. unless it's more than 20C outside. Even then it can be chilly if you just sit.

Very pretty dress, personally I'd wear it with black or pink shoes.

My monitor must be really strange, because the pink is quite pale on my display and not a fuchsia at all. Are there different shades of pink? If it's really fuchsia, then I'd stick to simple gold jewelry (bracelet and earrings), and find some stunning shoes, bag and hat. It's hard to give solid advice when you cannot see the dress and the person wearing it. My mum has black hair and looks Italian, and she would look stunning in fuchsia. I can do pale and coral pinks, but fuchsia makes me look positively ill, and it clashes with my auburn hair and freckles.

I'd go for a plain shoe too sergeant major. Black would be safe but would wk well, however don't like to look of blocky heels in the coast link, would go for a slinky skinny heeled pair, Would prob skip a necklace and put on nice earrings insead
