Where can I get good quality vest tops

I'm constantly looking for decent quality vest tops to wear under blouses/dresses, just plain colours like white, black navy but
cant for the life of me find anywhere that does them.

H&M, zara, even m&s all seem to be made of high % Lycra but I want something morecottony.

Happy to spend up to £10, any recommendations gratefully received, thanks!

I got some last year from next and matalan. Both washed well.

Gap have nice quality vests.

I am a big shopper of quality over price, I can vouch for primark's vests being excellent.

Totally busting your budget (@£29) but I am pleased with the fit and quality of these vests.

I got mine from Next last year. They've washed really well & kept their shape & the best bit for me, the white one isn't see through!

Another slight budget buster at £15 but house of Fraser do these nice longline Hallhuber ones. Not washed mine yet but seems v good quality.

Again a budget buster, but the best vests in the world are Hanro.

This one's cotton but I wear their high lycra content ones. I would rather pay lots for 4 of these than £20 every year for 4 cheap ones, they last and last.

Esprit do lovely ones in all colours for 12 quid. Free delivery too.

Mango are good and they have an online outlet shop. I buy their Lycra ones but they have loads of choice. They're reasonably priced too. x

Stupid x. In text mode. Honestly that x seems to be a ridiculous norm so much so I seem to stick one anywhere.

Anyone got any recs for silky loose vests to go under kimono tops and the like? Tummy is a problem so nice and floaty?

I always go for gap maternity ribbed sleeveless vests 95% cotton good quality and long rather than obviously maternity. I've got a long body and have kept on buying these as they are ace, you never get that chilly unsightly gap.

Also loads of deals at gap they must be doing so badly.

In terms of nice ones that are pretty Eberjey are lovely but expensive

My faves are from Decathlon (ribbed racerback, so comfy) and H&M (the long spahetti strap 3.99 or 4.99 one...). I have more expensive ones too, but really prefer these!

Oh and I absolutely hate high Lycra content, yuk.

Tesco have a basic black vest, which is fab, they bring it out every year and is not too see through or clingy. I love a black vest top I do!

I just bought a black one in M and S and it's lovely. It's a modal blend and really good quality plus the armholes aren't too low!

Yes to Matalan. They do a great extra long one for layering which is like the Baujken one at a tenth of the price.

Adding to the matalan recs. adore their long ones. Also have some strappy m&s ones I like
