River island jeans sizing?

I'm in between a 12 and 14 on the bottom half and a size 10 on the top half. Are River Island skinny jeans forgiving on a huge arse? Would I need the bigger or smaller size?
I will have to order online as they never have the ones I want in stock in store hence the question!

The Molly jeggings are very giving I was a 12 had to get the 10 and now I've lost weight I could do with the 8 but I'm defo not an 8

Just to confuse matters, I'm a 10 in most places including River Island, but usually need a 12 in H&M. Hot helpful, I know. Can you order both sizes and send one back?
