I love lilac, pale blue and pale green hair especially but am worried it will look stupid.

What do you think?

And where to buy dye from ? Grin

Do it! When I was on mat leave I dyed mine every colour under the sun . Now I'm back at work I have clip in streaks. Why not have fun while you can? As for dye, depends what colour you're starting from . Pastel only really works on thouroughly bleached hair . You can buy kits but I'd recommend seeing a professional colourist to set you off. Once your hair is light enough, the Bleach London range at Boots have some really pretty colours.

Ummm, I'm forty this year and have had pastel pink and lilac hair. I bought from the Bleach range, which is stocked in larger Boots. There is a different range from Superdug, but I can't remember the name. I did find it a bit patchy, but that could be down to my rubbish application skills!

Sorry but pastel looks shit, it just looks like you hair dye is washing out, dye it bright!

MrsMinton · 10/03/2015 21:28

Beeunique website has a huge range of colours. I'd recommend special fx as it lasts the best.

I'm bright pink and 40. Dooooooo it Grin you'll love it!

Stupid at any age, IMO.

So don't let your age stop you, if you dont think it looks stupid.

It's your hair after all.

Skinheadmermaid · 10/03/2015 22:31

No not at all. I really like the lilac hair I keep seeing on Youtube peoples.
Make more of an effort with make up though or it just looks weird/washed out.

mowglik · 10/03/2015 23:18

Go for it, I love the pastel lilac hair colour it looks so funky - unfortunately I don't have the colouring for pastel colours otherwise would have done it myself!

ihatemyphone99 · 11/03/2015 02:03

Fine if you look like Sienna Miller. Not fine if you don't IMO
