red bumps on top of arms

SomethingBeginningWith · 09/03/2015 21:43

I have little red-ish bumps on my arms, sort of like eczema but not as bad. I'm sure someone will know what I mean. They're not too obvious or garish but I'm getting married in just under a year and my dress will show all of my arms. Does anyone know any tips or tricks to get my arms smooth?

Thank you!

It sounds like keratosis pilaris. There's lots of advice on how to get rid of this if you Google it, but in essence, it's a case of exfoliating (eg with loofah mitt type things), moisturising and drinking lots of water.

Flexitol or other cream with a decent amount of urea in it and exfoliation.

Keritosis Pilaris (KP) maybe? Mine went away when I went wheat and gluten free. If had it for years on both arms and legs. There seems to be an association with intolerance to grains, and also to Coeliac.

That's interesting rawcoconut I might look into cutting down and see how it goes.

And thanks lucked and fozzley I'll invest in some decent moisturiser and exfoliator products.

Having googled, I don't seem to have it as bad as some people. They're very faint but it's something I'd be very aware of in photos, etc
