Scruff marks on these shoes

Does anyone know how I can get these black scruff marks off these shoes:

Try toothpaste on a damp cloth or Vaseline?

Magic easer, use very gently with a bi of water.

Bit of water!

Baby wipe or a pencil rubber.

wine spelling in action - a magic eraser, with a bit of water.

Ok thanks everyone, I will try all suggestions. Never again am I buying light paitent shoes!!!
