What do you wear for a business dinner?

My role is taking a nice turn in getting to go out to dinner meetings & some travel to Europe. However I'm a bit unsure what to wear for a business dinner next week in Holland. Unfortunately I am not sure where we are going so need something a bit middle of the road I suppose- not too smart but then not too casual either. What kind of things should I look at?

A nice dress should be fine. I usually wear something casual but smart ie a 3/4 length or long sleeve black/ navy dress ( just above knee). I have some nice ones from jigsaw if you want to look for ideas. Tights and shoes with low heel.

Blazer or coat depending on weather, but that will be off during meal anyway

Discreet jewellery. Enough that it's there but not making a huge statement

I tend to wear what I wear to the office - dress and blazer or trousers and silk top. The men at my dinners tend to be in suits or at the very least suits without ties. I prefer to be a bit overdressed rather than underdressed.

Have fun Wine

Thank you-it feels very grown up!. Will check out jigsaw for ideas. Yes slightly overdressed but with understated accessories sounds like a good balance.

Can i get away with flats? I need to not be worried about having sore feet too
