Does anyone regularly shop from US sites that could give me a tip on this?

The site I want to order from charges a flat fee of $50 for shipping!!ShockShock. No thanks! I was just wondering if there was a cheeky way around this??

I've never used an American one, but there are reshippers - I think one such is MyUs. You register with them, they give you a code/address. You order to this address, and they ship on to you. I've used one for the UK called Parcel Motel, it's saved a fortune in shipping fees.

parcel motel is very good. I am not in the uk and I use it to get the no delivery charge for deliveries to the uk. It would be about 2 and a half times the parcel motel charge to have items delivered to my country (on average)

is there a parcel motel for ordering from American sites?

Do these services bypass customs charges?

i think so. I wish parcel motel had a usa section as I trust them and the site is so easy to use and there's a 'motel' near me.

the american sites seem a bit fly by night in comparison

No. I think you still pay customs. They just cut down on shipping costs.

Yeah I think it would be illegal to bypass customs!
