Too old to consider this cardigan?

I love this cardigan, it's an Orla Kiely one. However I wonder whether I'm going to look daft in it as I'm 38? It isn't cheap so I don't want to make an expensive mistake! Any comments?

I'd like it without the cat as I hate cats.

My dd had similar one last year from next shes 2. I bought it so I obviously liked the design. I think it can b for any age and you aren't old. Enjoy your purchase

in relation to my earlier post-I do wear fishnets btw, and I am 51. But I probably wouldn't trot down Camden high st in them combined with suspenders and satin corset a la Madonna. But hey, I like women who wear whatever they want to. DH's (male) friend's striped satin kaftan on the other hand....was not a good look.

I'd rather wear fishnets than a cat jumper, are youSure it's a cat?

mammuzzamia · 07/03/2015 19:48

You should just wear it if you want to, OP. It will be a nice fit and good quality from Orla. I'm being a little mean. I was recently told off (not very seriously) for throwing cold water over Cath Kidston cloud print trainers for women thread Grin

I see it as having a 50s vibe so so would be worn over a dress/full skirt. Maybe because it reminds me of things with scottie dogs on which were still hanging around during my 1960s childhood!

Spidergirl8 · 07/03/2015 20:03

Thank you everyone. I think I will get it and hopefully not regret it! I intend to wear it with indigo skinnies or over a vintage style dress

You can absolutely never be too old for a cardigan. Unless it has Frozen on it.

IHaveBrilloHair · 07/03/2015 21:13

I might wear it with fishnets, and a black skirt I have.
