Black tie dress emergency *middle class woes*

I need a new frock for black tie dos asap - but I want something slightly on the funky side.

No jumpsuits though, please - I LOVE them but every woman in the office is wearing one this year.

Ideally I'd like a tux (skinny cigarette pants, killer heels, silky vest top underneath the jacket) but they do not exist under £2k (at least not one I can find)!

Budget is up to £200 and I need to wear a bra under it (my days of backless dresses are long gone). Don't care about colour, although I do not suit blush/cream/white.

Help, pretty please!

Hi TinTins,

Take a look at the thread I started in this section a few days ago - no idea how to link, but the thread is called The Biggest Bargain EVER!!! and I posted it on the 28th.

It's a black Marios Schwab dress, reduced from £995 to £99!!!! In Fenwicks on Bond St. When I went in last week they had size 8, 10, 12
Any good? It doesn't look much in the web photos, but it's amazing!

Thanks tigerbear! Will check out it - and your thread - now.

Cheers again x

:-)) Do you live in London, TinTins?
I work directly opposite Fenwick, so could pop in tomorrow to see if they still have it. What size would you need?
