Venture photography alternatives in London

We received a voucher from the soft play where we booked my son's third birthday for a Venture photoshoot. I had wanted to have a studio session of the kids done so figured why not. I wanted photos to send to family and friends. After having dragged three kids and a dog with two outfit changes and cheese to bribe the dog I found out they will not give you prints. You can buy framed only and they started at 400 and went up - for one photo! Are they nuts? Not to mention the photos were not that great. They don't use an assistant so my three year old did his cheesy painful grin in nearly all of them. They just weren't that special and certainly not worth that price tag! I was so frustrated to not be able to buy prints. Anyway I want to try again. Anyone have any suggestions of studios?

Is Venture still a thing?

Most studios will have a similar pricing model to Venture. You would be better finding an independent local photographer and having a family shoot with them, they are usually far better value. Maybe ask for recs on a local Facebook group?
