Can anyone explain why I can't use a depilatory cream before using the Lumea i.e. why does the area have to be shaved first.

I don't want to shave in case the Lumea doesn't work well on me and I am left with stubble I don't get with Veet.

the cream like waxing and epilating take the root out
you need to shave so the hair root is on the surface for the light to get to it

and it wont work straight away takes a few weeks to stop the hair growth

You will have initial stubble while the follicle dies.

Laser removal is a long game, but in my experience absolutely worth it.
