Where can I buy them?

The pic comes from Atterley Road but I can't find the flares/ culottes there.

It's Hedvig O from The Notrthern Light blog, just look at her blog and there will be info.

Northern.

Here they are. Just as well they are sold out at that price!

herecomesthsun · 03/03/2015 13:30

Any ideas on a similar item, perhaps at a more affordable price point?

Cos look quite similar but they are cotton not wool.

dexter73 · 03/03/2015 13:38

These are wool.

I think just above the ankle with an elegant heel would work. And a style which is a bit tailored, to be smooth and not bunch around the waist.

There are some very inexpensive mid calf ones about, but they look a bit "mom's summer trousers" which is not what I'm looking for.

Topshop, not so elegant

Not quite the same but nice.

I don't like the styling with a really baggy jacket or shirt over the top, I guess it might work if you are very young or skinny or an architect in Hoxton, but I would need a fitted / tailored top I think

Ye gods! At that price I'd expect a smoothly-put-in zip (preferably at the side) and a waistband that did not crease and pull.

That style would be very easy to make or have made by a dressmaker, if anyone were so inclined. This sort of pattern www.jaycotts.co.uk/products/bd6966#.VPXIOY6CBdg or (less extreme) www.jaycotts.co.uk/products/v9033#.VPXFGo6CBdg
