COS Sizing

I know there have been many threads on this but what size would a size 12 be in COS - a 38 or 40.

have seen a skirt I love but am in NI and no COS outlets here but am in London on Saturday (if I can manage to get on the plane without a panic attack!) and can walk to Regent street to see.

Cos size chart

38 = 12 (this is Scandi sizing, not Euro - see also H&M/ & Other Stories, all part of the same group as Cos). Sizing is fairly generous, and a 12 would almost certainly be a M in the non-numbered sizes.

If you don't see the skirt, their online ordering is pretty good though takes a few days as comes from Germany. Returns are free and they refund your original shipping fee too.

Actually just to qualify that, you could be an S or an M, I find it depends on the garment!

Also depends how you want it to fit.. Isn't Cos stuff like sacks?

Yes most of the stuff looks like sacks on the website doesn't it.

As a skirt I don't want it hanging on my hips though. Have seen it in real life and it's seems to sit at waist

Might wait and see if I can see it at weekend and then order if not

really, a 38 in H&M = 12?

that means I have fitted into a 14 in my new H&M trousers after losing weight for the first time in years
