Ecco shoes

So I've been on the hunt for a smart-ish pair of hi-top trainers... Something I could wear with black skinnies, cool bomber jacket etc. don't want them to look too scruffy.

After weeks of searching I went into an Ecco shop and found a few good options (Aimee hi top boot). They are v v comfy!

My question - is this brand just too mums'?? I know it should t matter, but I do care a bit!

Not sure that this is answering your question, but I recently found a beautiful unworn pair on the vintage/old clothes stall in the market for £12. They were perfect, black suede high tops with the funky moulding from a few years ago, and very comfy. Last week, which was three weeks after getting them, the sole fell apart for no reason. I think the rubber must have perished but there was no sign of wear. I was gutted, but I do think most of their stuff is really mums... and I'm ancient!

I think you should focus on the shoe rather than the brand. I do not do mumsy (I'm not even a mum) and have a pair of Ecco shoes. I get complimented on them every single time I where them, and I personally like being able to surprise people with a find from a store that isn't well known as being cool.

"wear them"

Sorry, half asleep this morning...

I have the Aimee hi tops in cognac metallic leather and love them. The brand name is not even displayed on the outside of the shoe so no one will know what brand you're wearing! And it is not a mumsy brand anyway, it is quite a popular brand in Scandinavia. FWIW, I'm 32 and not a mum.

Stripes, those are the ones!
