Sudden greasy hair - shampoo?

Since giving birth to my son my hair has gone greasy, static and knotty. Having had dry silky hair which needs washing around every 3 days and a flaky scalp my whole life I have no idea how to handle greasy hair.

Can you recommend a shampoo? Should I use conditioner? Will I need to wash daily?

Tia!

try a clarifying shampoo then condition only the ends, try not to brush a lot and wash every couple of days, possibly try a dry shampoo in between if it looks really greasy, wear it up on day two?

I like this shampoo: www.kerastase.co.uk/haircare/discipline/bain-fluidealiste-no-sulfates and this conditioner: www.kerastase.co.uk/haircare/discipline/fluidealiste-conditioner

I only use conditioner in the lengths of the hair as I find that my hair gets greasier if I have used conditioner on the scalp/too close to the scalp.
Same goes for hair oils and similar.

I prefer washing my hair every day, but can skip it if need be. In that case, I use dry shampoo where I need it. I like the Kerastase Powder Bluff dry shampoo and the Co Lab ones (Co Lab are sold at Superdrug). Batiste dry shampoo isn't bad but I find it hard to get the white powder distributed so it isn't visible. The Kerastase and Co Lab ones are clear.

Massive sympathies from one greaseball to another. Herbal Essences Silk and Shine (pink bottle) often gains me an extra day.

And dry shampoo always in the cupboard.....

Thanks! Sounds like new shampoo and dry shampoo are the way to go!

I've noticed a massive improvement when I tried the Fushi Total Repair Herbal shampoo, somehow the greasiness decreased massively. From having to use dry shampoo on the second day, I can go without washing my hair for 2 days and no dry shampoo! It's on sale now atm as well which is a bonus
